Denodo Partners with Linktera to Advance Use of Data Virtualization in Turkey & Middle East
Turkish engineering and software company Linktera and Denodo, one of the world's leading companies in data virtualization products, signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This partnership aims to reduce the operational costs of data management and the time it takes to transform data into value. This joint venture is also expected to increase the directive agility of organizations within their digital transformation projects and assist in making the real values of data virtualization more accessible to the market. Linktera’s General Manager Taşkın Osman Aksoy stated; “Analytics and Modelling is always a core area for Linktera. With this new partnership we would like to extend our data modelling, BI and analytics capabilities, using Denodo’s outstanding Data Virtualizaiton and Integration tools. We are looking at this as a long journey together with Denodo to create great values here in Turkey for you and abroad.” about the importance of this strategic partnership.
A well-rounded engineering company, Linktera is known for carrying out end-to-end consultancy and digital transformation projects, has announced the realization of a strategic business partnership with Denodo, a world leading company in data virtualization. Denodo, serving in many places around the world can now become a service provider within the Turkish market, thanks to the partnership with Linktera, a company that targets the public, banking, financial services, insurance, corporate sectors and all kinds of digital transformation initiatives in general. With this beneficial partnership, companies in a wider region, now including Turkey, will be provided with services such as consultancy, analysis, software and data virtualization.
Rather than physically grouping and storing datasets together (such as on a large working server, a large database stored in a cluster, or at a data warehouse), virtualized data is stored in a distributed manner across a number of different servers, allowing data consumers an easier access to read the data without physically moving or copying the data from where it resides thus allowing it to be accessible while keeping it secure. According to Gartner, up to 40% of organizations use non-aggregate integration styles such as data virtualization, and this number continues to grow to this day. Data virtualization also plays a critical role in many of the key architectural patterns identified by Gartner, such as logical data warehouse and logical data lake, self-service BI, logical data structure, and multi-cloud integration. However, data virtualization has become an integral part of any Data-Ops and Data Management lifecycle aimed at simplifying data management.
'Integration' is the Key Factor in Digital Transformation
Taşkın Osman Aksoy, General Manager of Linktera, which provides global standards product support, project consultancy, system integration and end-to-end project management services to companies in digital transformation processes, said about the partnership; “It has a great importance in terms of reducing operational costs and the time it takes to transform data into value. We are pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership agreement with Denodo, known as the unrivaled market leader in the Data Virtualization Technology industry. We are looking this as a long journey together with Denodo to create great values here in Turkey for you and in abroad.”
Denodo Ravi Shankar, Chief Marketing Offices, which is listed as a leader consecutively by Gartner in the Data Integrations Tools Magic Quadrant 2020 and 2021 and Forrester Enterprise Data Fabric Wave, said, “We at Denodo are proud of our acknowledged position as market leaders by two of the world’s leading analyst firms, their acknowledgment underlines our commitment to providing secure and seamless access to data via a logical data fabric supported by data virtualization”.
“Denodo the world leader in data integration and data virtualization and Linktera have come together to form a partnership. Denodo felt that the leading position Linktera holds in Turkey along with their deep understanding of the public sector, financial services, banking and insurance industry makes them the obvious choice to help Denodo expand their presence within these sectors in the region,” added Emiliano Pierdominici, Partner Sales Director South Europe & Middle East at Denodo.
